Minor Funding Protocol

This application is intended for proposals seeking under $1,000 US$. If seeking more than $1,000, please see Major Funding Protocol. This application has no deadline and is designed to be much more basic to complete. Recipients of awards must be responsible for Coastal Fund Guidelines similar to major funding proposals including final report and internship evaluation form.

1. Complete the minor application and submit to coastalfund@gmail.com

2. Applications for minor funding are accepted throughout the academic quarter up until week 8.
3. Project start date begins the quarter following the quarter submitted. Do not submit an application for a project that has already begun.
4. Funds will be available at beginning of the academic quarter following the quarter in which the application was received.
5. Application cannot be submitted the same quarter as a major funding application by the same applicant.
6. Submit your proposal one week before the desired meeting in which you would like your application to be reviewed.
7. You may be asked to present your project the CF Board of Directors at a regular scheduled meeting.
8. Individual projects can only request funding once per academic quarter.
9. The approved funds are only active until the end of the following academic quarter, unless a no cost extension is requested.
