COASTAL SERVICE PROGRAM
Coastal Service Program

The Coastal Service Program offers all campus groups an opportunity to raise funds while keeping our community litter-free or enhancing our local natural areas. Earn up to $250 for your organization by performing a beach clean up or restoration to help our community.
Participation Guidelines:
Review the Calendar for available dates, and choose one that your group is able to participate in
Complete the
Coastal Service Program participation form
Email the form to the Program coordinator,
Emma Panish, or drop it by the Coastal Fund office (located on the second floor of the Multicultural Center in Room 2501)
IMPORTANT: Your group must be registered with Associated Students or Office of Student Life to be eligible to participate in the program.
Your application will be processed in about a week, and you will be given your confirmed date of participation.

Necessary supplies, including Coastal Service Program waiver and summary sheet will be available outside 2521 office door on the Wednesday before your event.
Once you have completed your activity, the supplies and all completed paperwork as well as photographic documentation must be submitted to our office by Tuesday. Photos can be emailed to
coastalserviceprogram@gmail.com. A check will be issued to your organization and deposited directly in your Office of Student Life account.
ACTIVITIES:
Beach and Street Clean ups: earn up to $250 for your group (15 or more participants)
Restoration: earn up to $150 for your group (10 or more participants)
Your group will be allowed to participate in only one beach clean up or restoration per quarter.
BEACH AND STREET CLEAN UP OPTIONS
- Goleta Beach (Goleta Beach east to marine lab)
- Campus Point (Goleta Beach west to Depressions/ Manzanita Dorms beach)
- IV Beach (Manzanita Dorms Beach to the end of Del Playa)
- Devereux/ Sands (end of Del Playa beach around Coal Oil Point including Sands Beach) *please do not cross fences*
- Haskell's Beach
- East Del Playa Drive (anywhere and everywhere along the street, 6500-6700 Blocks)
- West Del Playa Drive (anywhere and everywhere along the street, 6600-6800 Blocks)
RESTORATION AND TREE PLANTING OPTION
- Coal Oil Point Reserve (Devereux Slough, UCSB West Campus)
- Storke Ranch Vernal Pools (wetlands behind Santa Catalina Dorms)
- CCEBER (multiple UCSB Campus locations)
- Arroyo Honda Preserve (Gaviota Coast, 15min West of Goleta)
- Goleta Valley Beautiful (Isla Vista/ Goleta areas)
