The Coastal Fund would like to thank everyone who attended our 10-year anniversary reception at the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum on May 15. The event was made possible by all of our wonderful supporters, and was dubbed a great success by our staff, guests, and particularly our speakers, Michael Hanrahan and Doreen Farr. Check out our 10-year anniversary recap, featured in the SB Independent!
The Coastal Fund received $508,475.42 from 56 proposals this past Fall 2008 Winter 2009 and Spring 2009 Annual Funding Cycle. This is by-and-large the largest amount requested from the Coastal Fund and with the passage of the Students Initiative, the student Board of Directors awarded a total of $294,275.70 to projects and programs that best fit the Coastal Fund Mission and Principals
